I’m not going to deny the fact that Abercrombie has had a reputation in the past for being seen as an exclusive brand. I can attest to the fact that when I was growing up, their sizes were extremely limited and frankly, hard to fit into if you had any bit of a butt or thighs.
However, they have made giant strides in becoming a more casual, laid-back, and inclusive brand for all shapes and sizes. Let me tell you, Abercrombie is making a COMEBACK. Especially when it comes to their denim and jeans.
Not only do they carry more sizes in-store and online, they now offer a full line for “curvy” women and inseam options for those who are considered petite.
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve seen my try-on hauls and honest reviews of the new Abercrombie jeans. Because it’s been so popular, I’ve decided to give you a full rundown of my two favorite collections, the 90’s Ultra High Rise and the Curve Love Ultra High Rise.
90’s Ultra High Rise *
Who doesn’t love a good pair of high-rise jeans? These jeans are unique because they have the supportive feeling of the high-rise waist but are much looser in the thigh and calve area. You can wear these freely without feeling restricted. The combination of high-waisted with a loose fit, gives it the ultimate 90’s vibe.
Some of my favorites from this collection include:
- 90’s Ultra High Rise Jeans – Ripped Light Wash
- 90’s Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans – Light Acid Wash
- 90’s Ultra High Rise Straight Jeans- Black Ripped Wash
Curve Love Ultra High Rise *
Out of all the jeans I own, the Curve Love Ultra High Rise line is by far my favorite! Not only have they fit me the best, they cling to all the right areas. I don’t have that awkward gap between my waist and jeans and can still comfortably move around.
Some of my favorites from this collection include:
- Curve Love Ultra High Rise Dad Jeans – Ripped Light Wash
- Curve Love High Rise Mom Jeans – Ripped Light Wash
- Curve Love High Rise Super Skinny Ankle Jeans – Ripped Black
If you’re looking for new jeans, I recommend giving Abercrombie a shot. You might be surprised at how much the brand has changed and evolved over the years!
* In all Abercrombie jeans, I wear a size 29. I find them to be true to size but recommend you view their sizing guide before making a purchase.
