Gym Must-Haves for Women’s Health and Fitness Day

Women’s Health and Fitness Day is September 30, so it’s time to celebrate the health and wellness of women everywhere! It doesn’t matter how you celebrate as long as you feel amazing doing it.

My favorite way is to get my beautiful body moving by heading to the gym. Doing a little workout to celebrate my health and fitness is my way of telling my body that I appreciate them!

It’s important to wear the proper clothes and and use the right equipment when celebrating your body, so here are just a few of my favorites that I couldn’t live without:

Yoga Mat with a Strap

Having a proper mat to stretch your body on helps with your comfort, balance and traction. Most of all, it helps to prevent injury!

A yoga mat with a strap is just an added bonus because you don’t have to worry about holding it in your arms with all of your other equipment.

Sports Bra Tank Top

THESE! These are one of the only tops I wear to the gym. They’re so flexible and easy to move in while giving the perfect amount of support.

Plus, they’re stylish so you can wear them anywhere!

Athletic Socks

Proper padding and support in your socks is a must. No one likes dealing with blisters and sore feet after a workout, so avoid it at all costs by getting the right athletic socks for your workout!

Seriously, these socks are so comfortable that I wear them around the house all the time. I love them!

Comfy Bike Shorts

There’s nothing worse than chaffing. A good pair of shorts goes a long way when working out and these bike shorts are sleek, breathable and adorable!

Not to mention, they have pockets!

Water Bottle

Sometimes I’m so busy throughout the day, I forget to drink enough water, but this water bottle has completely changed that. Seriously, this is the coolest water bottle ever! It has a timer on it and glows when it’s time to drink, so you never forget to stay hydrated! 

28-oz BlenderBottle

You can never go wrong with one of these! I can’t stand getting a chunk of powder while drinking a protein shake in the morning. The metal ball blends the powder perfectly so I don’t have to worry about chewing my drink! 

AirPods Pro

I can’t workout without music and nothing is more annoying than my headphones slipping out because I’m sweaty or yanking out the wires when I’m in the middle of a set. I bought a pair of AirPods Pros when they first came out and it has been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. 

I don’t have to worry about them falling out and they stay charged for a decent amount of time so I don’t have to remember to plug them in everyday. I don’t think I could ever go back to any other type of earbuds!

Cooling Towels

These are the best! I bring one every time I go to the gym to keep me cool and feeling refreshed. All you have to do is get it wet before starting your workout, ring out the excess water, snap it a few times and it’s ready to cool you down!

I usually bring one with me when I know I’m going to be outside in the heat. All you need is water and they fit right in your fanny pack!

Women’s health and fitness day is about celebrating your body and all they possess, so get out and move them around!
