Finding a makeup routine and products that work for your life can be intimidating and hard. That’s why I rely on the recommendations of my friends, family, and professionals! Many of us don’t have perfect skin, the budget for expensive products, or the time to contour, bake, and set every single day. I’ve tried so many products over the last few years and I finally feel confident enough to share the products that have become my makeup must-haves.
Ranging from $24-$35, I’ve found the products that work for my skin type and budget and I can’t wait to share them with you below!
Foundation: Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
Alright, let me just get this out of the way now.
I have jumped onto the Fenty Beauty bandwagon.
Not only do their products give me long-lasting looks, but they’re also 100% cruelty-free. Their website features an amazing shade finder tool that not only helps you find your foundation shade but a bronzer and blush shade that will compliment your skin tone. I was able to match myself online with the perfect shade, without walking into a Sephora.
The Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation provides medium to full coverage with a natural finish. The best part? There are over 50 shades to choose from and one pump is all you need to apply to get the coverage you’re looking for.
Bronzer: Match Stix Matte Skinstick
The Match Stix Matte Skinstick is another Fenty Beauty staple in my makeup routine! The skinstick is designed to be a triple threat to help conceal, correct, and contour but I use this product to simply bronze and contour my face along my cheekbones, nose, and forehead.
This product is so user friendly that you don’t need to be a contouring expert to use it! A tip I learned from a makeup artist is to apply the product directly to your face from the stick right about the divot that separates your jaw and cheekbone and finish the look by blending the product to reduce any hard lines.
Blush: Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick
I will be the first to admit I was skeptical to try a cream blush, but after trying this blush from Fenty Beauty, I was blown away by how easy it was to use. I recommend warming the product on the back of your hand first and either use your fingers or a clean brush to apply it to your cheeks.
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape
Shade Fair Light Neutral
With over 12,000 reviews on Ulta, this concealer is a must have! This concealer helps brighten, smooth, and give skin a firmer, more lifted look by blurring the appearance of any discoloration, fine lines, or wrinkles. The Shape Tape concealer is so easy to blend and won’t flake or crease throughout the day.
Setting Powder: Pro Filt’r Setting Powder
I have been searching for a setting spray or powder that doesn’t break me out and when I found this Pro Filt’r Setting Powder from Fenty Beauty, I knew it would quickly become my go-to. It’s a super fine powder designed to extend makeup wear. You don’t need much of it to set your face to give you that perfect photo-soft finish.
I think brows can make or break your entire look so it’s important to have the right products in your routine. To outline and fill in some spots with less hair, I use the brow pencil from Benefit. The applicator is so fine and precise I can draw each brow hairs to make it look more realistic.
This brow gel from Benefit is the perfect complement to the brow pencil I use to fill in any areas of my brows. It’s a staple in my beauty routine because it helps my brows stay in place all day long and gives them such amazing dimension.
