By about mid-September, I’m ready for autumn. The weather, the colors, the aesthetic and the clothes. I love feeling comfy and cozy and I feel like fall is the perfect time for that. But, I live in Ohio which is notorious for having unpredictable weather. It could be October and I’m fully into autumn mode, but it’s 80 degrees out.
I’m not feeling very comfy and cozy while I’m sweating through my flannels and jeans, so this year I’m adding a transition wardrobe. These are some of my favorite pieces in my new summer to autumn wardrobe that are perfect for both hot and cool days!
Flared leggings are taking up a lot of room in my closet right now. They’re so easy to dress up or dress casually, but I already know I’m going to be pairing them with shackets and a tank A LOT.
Everyone needs a good pair of track pants and these are it. I love how casual, yet cute these pants are. I usually pair them with a sports bra and shacket, but you could dress them up even more.
As you can see in the photo, I was FEELING MYSELF in this outfit. It’s better for the warmer autumn days, but this outfit could be paired with a cute denim or corduroy jacket.
I’m feeling the 70s in this outfit. The cowl neck, the wide-leg pants, the curtain bangs, all of it. This is one of my go-to brunch outfits, but you could wear it for anything, honestly.
Simple and cute! Bodysuits are a favorite of mine because I hate constantly having to tuck in my shirt throughout the day. They’re more comfortable than they look and they’re an autumn staple for me.
A cropped sweatshirt and joggers? Any day. This is usually my choice for fall activities like decorating my house, baking, pumpkin carving or painting, etc. It’s comfy and cozy just like my favorite autumn aesthetic.
Get in loser, we’re going pumpkin picking.
This outfit is another go-to for all things fall for me. Since the weather is usually unpredictable, the button-up is adaptable for a warm or chilly day.
Another comfy, cozy outfit for you! I definitely associate oversized crewnecks with autumn, so this is another outfit you’ll find me in every other day for the next few months. Also, the bike shorts paired with the Nike Blazer Mid ‘77 shoes are a vibe.
Trust me, you can never have enough shackets! They go with everything and are great for warm or cool weather. This is probably my favorite outfit to add a shacket to, but as we’ve seen, they’re versatile!
