The June Commen launch was one to remember! For some reason, this one was extra special for me. I don’t really know what about it has stuck with me for the past month and a half, but I’ll try to explain myself.

It brought a fresh look to Commen

All launches are unique in their own way and I get increasingly excited about each one thinking, “This is the best one yet!” But I was really proud of this one. I thought it brought a fresh, new look to Commen while reiterating its message to Normalize Normal Bodies.

Don’t get me wrong, I love all the designs of past items, but these were different in a way. I love the concept of Commen Crew as group of people supporting others just by wearing a shirt with a powerful message on it. For example, the Commen Crew Cropped Windbreaker’s statement is, “Healthy looks different on every body” which couldn’t be more true but it’s nice to be reminded every now and then. 

The designs are fresh but stick to the message.

It helped me realize, once again, I have the privilege of doing what I love

I’m so thankful for everything that has come my way. The success, the failures, everything is a learning lesson. 

This launch was definitely a success, but it reinstated the fact there are many people who believe in the same message as I do, but they don’t have the platform to express that feeling the same way I do. I realize this and I’m grateful for the people who support me and give me this platform.

Your love and support is what helps me stay focused on what matters most to me, Normalizing Normal Bodies.

It brought our Crew closer together

I love going through my tagged Instagram posts and seeing people wear Commen apparel. Sometimes it’s a shoutout, other times it’s a background story, but every time I see people in the comments supporting and engaging with one another and it makes me so happy!

The community we’ve built is surreal to me sometimes. There are so many people who want nothing more than to love and support everyone. I especially love when people wear the Commen CC Logo Cropped Tee to places like the gym or the store because they are indirectly making people feel good about themselves.

We’ve always had a great community, but I think this launch has brought it to a new height and I couldn’t be happier!

I was proud of myself

Everything I send out into the world has been given 110% and I’m always happy with it but this launch made me especially proud of what I’m doing. There’s a lot that goes into the planning of a launch not to mention doing all of it virtually. I’ll admit, I was a bit overwhelmed, but I didn’t give up or cut corners and I think I handled all the tasks well, so I’m proud of myself for that. 

Thank you all for being so supportive of me and my mission to Normalize Normal Bodies! This launch meant a lot to me so I’m happy to say it was one of my favorites so far.
